There are many face masks in the market, but which one is yours?

The truth is, we all know the benefit of different face masks, but few really understand what exactly a face mask is supposed to do, and how it is supposed to benefit you.

There are five types of skin mainly – dry, oily, normal, combination, and sensitive. For each skin type, there are masks available.

However, which one will benefit your skin type the most? Find out!

  • Dry Skin – the essential problem of dry skin lies with the concept of hydration. Dry skin looks flaked out and very old quite soon.
  • To combat it, a face mask with a lot of hydrating power is a great idea to use, so a Vitamin E one is always a good plan.
  • Oily skin – oily skin equals to unwanted oiliness of the skin and pimple break outs.To combat that, a mask which will lower the oiliness of the skin, unclog pores and combat pimples is a great idea to have. A mask with a good bit of tea tree oil mostly helps lower down the pimple rate and clay masks reduce the oiliness of the skin and unclog pores.
  • Normal Skin – generally normal skin does not need much help, but once in a while, a good face mask with hydrating and brightening effect works. Try something with papaya in it, to clean your face up.
  • Combination – a difficult skin type, where you can use two face masks together targeting specific areas. For example, if your skin is oily-normal combination, use a papaya one on the places where skin is normal, and clay one where it is oily.
  • Sensitive – the best thing to do is to consult a doctor while using a mask on sensitive skin, because you never know what might trigger off a reaction. But mostly, a mask with aloe does the trick for it.
